THE iDOLM@STER 2 date announced: February 2011!

 Finally we have a date: February 24th, 2011!

As all IDOLM@STER related releases, preordering the game will allow you to get some "extras". I this case, you will be able to get a new song: "Little Match Girl". Also, usual promotional cards are limited to those who preorder it.

Sakura Gakuin single debut!

It's so wrong that I haven't talk about them yet!! Being a fan of Karen Girl's and being following the activity of two of its former members (Suzuka and Ayami) I was extremely happy to know about this new project this past summer.

Dream Fighter cover by SPL∞ASH members (Pickup of the week)

I always loved groups (idol groups, dance & singing groups) from dance/singers schools. They have a total different aura despite they usually perform popular idol songs.

This time, I wanted to talked about ACTOR'S SCHOOL HIROSHIMA. You may know this singer's school  from the popular trio Perfume, singer Nakamoto Suzuka (ex-Karen Girl's, soloist and currently a Sakura Gakuin member) or idol group Manaminorisa (まなみのりさ). I'm always searching for some new performances on YouTube or NicoNico Douga from their regular events. Those are really enjoyable.

Today (well, I started writing this post like one month ago xD) I choose to share this live performance by three members of the group SPL∞ASH

Love Live! 2nd Single 『Snow halation』

A new single for the mysterious anime-idol group Love Live! has been announced! Snow halation is going to be the title of their second single to be released this December 22nd.

The CD includes a b-side song together with both a-side and b-side karaokes  plus an original drama part. DVD includes an animation shot video (or what we call PV for real idols) of Snow halation. Unlike its predecessor, there's a Limited Edition with a special designed cover :D!

I'm looking foward to this project, it's interesting to see how all this idol-boom is influencing the anime, too (you're going to know what I'm talking about when I write about ACG38 xD!).

Afilia Saga East 5th single CM!

Afilia Saga East is realising its 5th single in December 1st! Knee-high Egoist (ニーハイ・エゴイスト) lyrics are written by Shikura Chiyomaru (one of Afilia Saga East's producers) and composed by Tsunku (Hello! Project & TNX/Nice Girl Project producer)! After holding that idol wrestling event some months ago... it looks like he enjoyed working with other idols ;P

You can listen a small preview of Knee-high Egoist in their official site. Song it's  really Tsunk-ish xD!

B-side is called Koi wo Game ni shinaide! (恋をゲームにしないで!) and is the ending theme song of the PS3 game "Chojigen Game Neptune" (超次元ゲイム ネプテューヌ). Lyrics are written by Halko Momoi (also one of Afilia Saga East's producers).

Some time soon I'm going to translate Halko Momoi Spain (by BDASHU & xRukix)'s post about Afilia Saga East since it's the only place with a complete "profile" that's not in Japanese ^^!

It's nice to see how they're gaining more popularity with each release. I would love to see them doing some TV Live some day!
